[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In efforts to promote sustainable rural development, AGCO Zambia through Farming and Engineering Services \u2013 Africa (FES<\/a>), Massey Ferguson\u2019s official distributor in Zambia, donated a Massey Ferguson 4708 to\u00a0Game Rangers International<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Zambia (GRI).<\/p>\n

GRI is a non-profit organization working in close partnership with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) to empower Rangers and Local Communities to conserve nature. GRI embraces a holistic approach to conservation and empowers Rangers across three core thematic areas:\u00a0 resource protection, community outreach, and wildlife rescue.<\/p>\n

The Facility Manager, Tim Hammond, expressed his gratitude stating:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe tractor has really shown its value over the course of the last few wet months as the roads have become largely unpassable to normal vehicles. It has greatly improved our ability to keep camp in top shape with its capacity to move large amounts of building or waste materials, as well as slash big areas of campgrounds in no time. The biggest improvement the tractor has brought to the Release Facility is the increased amount of browse we\u2019ve been collecting for the Orphan Herd when they come in for the night. I don\u2019t know how camp survived without the Massey \u2013 we\u2019ve all become very fond of her!<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

The MF 4708 has been instrumental in the collection of browse for the Release Herd, transportation of materials and supplies to GRI\u2019s remote bush camp, and in repair works for local road links \u2013 significantly reducing the burden to the organization\u2019s project vehicles.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThrough this alliance with GRI, we have been able to demonstrate the benefits and versatility of the\u00a0Massey Ferguson<\/a> brand. The MF 4708, is part of AGCO\u2019s global series of tractors designed to work efficiently on the African rugged terrain, both on the crop fields and as a utility power equipment tool.
